On De Dag van de Kinderburgemeesters (National Child Mayor Day) I was a graphic reporter. I drew the children and the reporters and politicians that came to listen. It was a very interesting day where all child mayors worked together to list all things needed to grow up healthy, happy and safe. There was only need for some quick impressions. Of course graphic journalism could go way deeper and sketches could become fully developed drawings. With the right text and recorded dialogue it could become a very rich and telling way of recording an event or phenomenon… To be continued!
